Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody targets phosphorylase b kinase gamma catalytic chain, skeletal muscle/heart isoform (gene PHKG1) in human samples and is validated for Western blot, flow cytometry and ELISA.
PHKG1 is the catalytic gamma subunit of phosphorylase kinase in skeletal muscle and heart. Phosphorylase kinase converts glycogen phosphorylase b into the active form a in response to neural and hormonal signals such as Ca2+ and cAMP, triggering glycogen breakdown, and PHKG1 is studied in glycogen metabolism and muscle energetics.
