Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody detects phytanoyl-CoA dioxygenase domain-containing protein 1 (gene PHYHD1) in human, mouse and rat samples and is validated for Western blot, flow cytometry and ELISA.
PHYHD1 is an iron and 2-oxoglutarate-dependent dioxygenase that shares a domain with phytanoyl-CoA hydroxylase. Biochemical work shows that it can turn over 2-oxoglutarate to succinate but does not hydroxylate acyl-CoA substrates, so its physiological substrate and role remain unclear.
