Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody targets PITH domain-containing protein 1 (gene PITHD1) in human, mouse and rat samples and is validated for Western blot, IHC, ICC/IF, flow cytometry and ELISA.
PITHD1 is a small protein containing a PITH domain. It has been reported to promote megakaryocyte differentiation by increasing RUNX1 expression, and it associates with proteasome-related complexes, but its roles are not yet fully characterized.

Immunogen
Recombinant human PITHD1 fragment (Cys12–Ser211), expressed in E. coli. Sequence identity with the mouse ortholog: 98%.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with human, mouse and rat. UniProt places PITH domain-containing protein 1 in the cytoplasm. Tissue expression noted by UniProt (human): Down-regulated in primary acute myeloid leukemia (AML) patients.
