Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody targets 1-phosphatidylinositol 4,5-bisphosphate phosphodiesterase beta-2 (gene PLCB2) in human samples and is validated for Western blot, flow cytometry and ELISA.
PLCB2 (PLCβ2) is a phospholipase C that splits PI(4,5)P2 into IP3 and diacylglycerol in response to G protein-coupled receptors, particularly via Gβγ subunits. It is expressed mainly in blood cells and taste receptor cells, where it supports neutrophil chemoattractant signaling and sweet, bitter and umami taste transduction.
