Product Overview

This rabbit polyclonal antibody recognizes 1-phosphatidylinositol 4,5-bisphosphate phosphodiesterase epsilon-1 (gene PLCE1) in human samples and is validated for Western blot and ELISA.

PLCE1 (PLCε) is a large bifunctional enzyme that both hydrolyzes PI(4,5)P2 and acts as a guanine nucleotide exchange factor for Ras-family GTPases. Activated by Ras, Rap and heterotrimeric G proteins, it links several signaling inputs, and recessive PLCE1 mutations cause early-onset nephrotic syndrome.
