Product Overview
Clone 24P31 is a rabbit monoclonal antibody that recognizes 1-phosphatidylinositol 4,5-bisphosphate phosphodiesterase gamma-2 (gene PLCG2) in human samples and is validated for Western blot, IHC, immunoprecipitation and flow cytometry. The predicted molecular weight is 147.9 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 148 kDa.
PLCG2 (PLCγ2) is a phospholipase C expressed mainly in B cells, myeloid cells and platelets. Activated downstream of BTK and immune receptors, it produces IP3 and diacylglycerol to drive Ca2+ signaling, and PLCG2 variants are linked to inherited immune dysregulation, ibrutinib resistance and Alzheimer's disease risk.
