Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody recognizes pleckstrin homology domain-containing family B member 1 (gene PLEKHB1) in human, monkey, mouse and rat samples and is validated for Western blot and ELISA. The predicted molecular weight is 27.2 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 27 kDa.
PLEKHB1 (also called evectin-1) is a small pleckstrin homology domain-containing membrane protein. Its function has not been fully characterized.

Validated Applications
| Western blot | 0.25–0.5 µg/mL (Human, Monkey, Mouse, Rat) |
|---|---|
| ELISA | 0.1–0.5 µg/mL |
Samples with a confirmed band (WB): human SH-SY5Y cells, human HepG2 cells, human U251 cells, monkey RF/6A cells, rat eye tissue, mouse eye tissue.
Recommended loading (WB): 20–40 µg of total protein per lane.
Conditions in the example images (WB): 5–20% gradient SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions, 30 µg lysate per lane, transfer to nitrocellulose membrane, blocking in 5% non-fat milk, primary antibody at 0.5 µg/mL overnight at 4 °C, HRP-conjugated secondary antibody at 1:5000, ECL detection.
Immunogen
Recombinant human PLEKHB1 fragment (His82–Ser214), expressed in E. coli. Sequence identity with the mouse and rat orthologs: 93.9% and 92.4%, respectively.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with human, monkey, mouse and rat. UniProt places pleckstrin homology domain-containing family B member 1 in the membrane and cytoplasm. Tissue expression noted by UniProt (human): Highly expressed in retina and brain. The samples tested by the supplier (listed above) are a practical starting point for positive controls.
