Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody recognizes plastin-1 (gene PLS1) in human, mouse and rat samples and is validated for Western blot, IHC, ICC/IF, flow cytometry and ELISA.
Plastin-1 (fimbrin) is an actin-bundling protein found mainly in intestinal microvilli and inner ear stereocilia. It packs actin filaments into parallel bundles, and in the inner ear it is needed for stereocilia to reach their normal dimensions.

Recombinant human PLS1 fragment (Glu14–Leu581), expressed in E. coli. Sequence identity with the mouse ortholog: 93.8%.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with human, mouse and rat. UniProt places plastin-1 in the cytoplasm and cell projection. Tissue expression noted by UniProt (human): In small intestine, colon, and kidney.
