Product Overview
Clone AFAF-1 is a rabbit monoclonal antibody that recognizes ATP-binding cassette sub-family D member 3 (gene ABCD3) in human, mouse and rat samples and is validated for Western blot, ICC/IF and flow cytometry. The predicted molecular weight is 75.5 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 70 kDa.
PMP70 (ABCD3) is an abundant ATP-binding cassette transporter of the peroxisomal membrane. It brings branched-chain and long-chain fatty acyl-CoAs and bile acid intermediates into peroxisomes for oxidation, and it is widely used as a marker of peroxisomes.
