Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody detects POC1 centriolar protein homolog A (gene POC1A) in human, mouse and rat samples and is validated for Western blot, IHC, ICC/IF, flow cytometry and ELISA.
POC1A is a WD40-repeat centriolar protein needed for centriole assembly, stability and length control. Together with its paralog POC1B it supports centriole integrity, proper spindle formation and cilium formation. Mutations in POC1A cause a rare primordial dwarfism syndrome, and the protein is studied in centrosome and cilia biology.
