Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody detects DNA polymerase delta subunit 3 (gene POLD3) in human, mouse and rat samples and is validated for Western blot and ELISA.
POLD3 is an accessory subunit of DNA polymerase δ and is also part of DNA polymerase ζ. It stabilizes the polymerase δ complex and helps it respond to PCNA, the sliding clamp that keeps polymerases on DNA. POLD3 is studied in DNA replication, break-induced replication and translesion synthesis.
