Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody detects polymerase delta-interacting protein 2 (gene POLDIP2) in human, mouse and rat samples and is validated for Western blot, ICC/IF, flow cytometry, immunoprecipitation and ELISA.
Polymerase delta-interacting protein 2 (POLDIP2) was first identified as a partner of DNA polymerase δ and PCNA. It helps cells tolerate DNA damage by stimulating translesion synthesis polymerases, including PrimPol, to copy past lesions such as 8-oxoguanine. It is also found in mitochondria and is studied in DNA damage tolerance.
