Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody detects DNA polymerase epsilon subunit 2 (gene POLE2) in human, mouse and rat samples and is validated for Western blot, flow cytometry and ELISA.
POLE2 is the second-largest subunit of DNA polymerase ε, the main polymerase for leading-strand DNA synthesis. It supports the catalytic subunit POLE and helps link the enzyme to the replication machinery. POLE2 is studied in DNA replication, repair and cell proliferation.

Immunogen
Recombinant human POLE2 fragment (Glu46–Lys483), expressed in E. coli. Sequence identity with the mouse ortholog: 99.1%.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with human, mouse and rat. UniProt places DNA polymerase epsilon subunit 2 in the nucleus.
