Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody recognizes DNA-directed RNA polymerases I and III subunit RPAC2 (gene POLR1D) in human, mouse and rat samples and is validated for Western blot and ELISA.
POLR1D is a small subunit shared by RNA polymerases I and III, which together produce ribosomal RNA precursors, 5S rRNA, tRNAs and other small RNAs. It contributes to the structure of the polymerase core. POLR1D mutations are associated with Treacher Collins syndrome.

Immunogen
Recombinant human POLR1D fragment (Lys10–Phe133), expressed in E. coli. Sequence identity with the mouse ortholog: 90.3%.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with human, mouse and rat. UniProt places DNA-directed RNA polymerases I and III subunit RPAC2 in the nucleus.
