Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody detects serine/threonine-protein phosphatase with EF-hands 1 (gene PPEF1) in human samples and is validated for Western blot, ICC/IF, flow cytometry and ELISA.
PPEF1 is a serine/threonine phosphatase with EF-hand calcium-binding motifs, related to the Drosophila retinal degeneration C (rdgC) protein. It has been reported to dephosphorylate and destabilize PDCD5, dampening p53 signaling, and may take part in photoreceptor adaptation. Its functions are still being characterized.
