Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody recognizes protein phosphatase 1G (gene PPM1G) in human, mouse and rat samples and is validated for Western blot, IHC, ICC/IF, flow cytometry, immunoprecipitation and ELISA. The predicted molecular weight is 59.3 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 75 kDa.
Protein phosphatase 1G (PPM1G) is a nuclear member of the PP2C family of magnesium-dependent serine/threonine phosphatases. It has been linked to regulation of pre-mRNA splicing and chromatin, but its roles are not fully characterized. Antibodies to it are used in human studies.

Immunogen
Recombinant human PPM1G fragment (Glu48–Gln457), expressed in E. coli.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with human, mouse and rat. UniProt places protein phosphatase 1G in the cytoplasm and membrane. Tissue expression noted by UniProt (human): Widely expressed. The samples tested by the supplier (listed above) are a practical starting point for positive controls.
