Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody recognizes serine/threonine-protein phosphatase 2A 56 kDa regulatory subunit beta isoform (gene PPP2R5B) in human samples and is validated for Western blot, flow cytometry and ELISA. The predicted molecular weight is 57.4 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 65 kDa.
PPP2R5B (B56β) is a B′-family regulatory subunit of protein phosphatase 2A that shapes its substrate choice and localization. When phosphorylated, it links PP2A to AKT1, promoting AKT1 dephosphorylation and turning down that signaling. B56β is enriched in brain.

Samples with a confirmed band (WB): human PC-3 cells, human SIHA cells, human A431 cells.
Recommended loading (WB): 20–40 µg of total protein per lane.
Conditions in the example images (WB): 5–20% gradient SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions, 30 µg lysate per lane, transfer to nitrocellulose membrane, blocking in 5% non-fat milk, primary antibody at 0.5 µg/mL overnight at 4 °C, HRP-conjugated secondary antibody at 1:5000, ECL detection.
Samples with a confirmed signal (flow cytometry): SiHa cells.

Recombinant human PPP2R5B fragment (Gln56–Ala492), expressed in E. coli.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with human. UniProt places serine/threonine-protein phosphatase 2A 56 kDa regulatory subunit beta isoform in the cytoplasm.
