Clone 30P78 is a rabbit monoclonal antibody that recognizes prolyl endopeptidase-like (gene PREPL) in human, mouse and rat samples and is validated for Western blot, ICC/IF, flow cytometry and immunoprecipitation. The predicted molecular weight is 83.9 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 70 kDa.
PREPL (prolyl endopeptidase-like) is a serine peptidase of the prolyl oligopeptidase family whose natural substrates are not yet clear. It helps maintain trans-Golgi network structure by regulating membrane binding of the AP-1 adaptor complex and may influence synaptic vesicle release, and it is studied in neuromuscular and metabolic disorders.

Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with human, mouse and rat. UniProt places prolyl endopeptidase-like in the cytoplasm, Golgi apparatus and nucleus. Tissue expression noted by UniProt (human): Expressed in pyramidal neurons of the temporal cortex and neocortex (at protein level).
