Product Overview
Clone 29P93 is a rabbit monoclonal antibody that recognizes protein arginine N-methyltransferase 7 (gene PRMT7) in human, mouse and rat samples and is validated for Western blot. The predicted molecular weight is 78.5 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 78 kDa.
PRMT7 is a type III protein arginine methyltransferase that forms only monomethylarginine on its substrates. It modifies histones, including arginine 3 of histone H4, and proteins involved in RNA processing, and it has been linked to germ cell and stem cell biology, imprinting and the cellular stress response.

Samples with a confirmed band (WB): HeLa cells.
Recommended loading (WB): 20–40 µg of total protein per lane.
Immunogen
Synthetic peptide based on the sequence of human PRMT7.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with human, mouse and rat. UniProt places protein arginine N-methyltransferase 7 in the cytoplasm and nucleus. The samples tested by the supplier (listed above) are a practical starting point for positive controls.
