Product Overview
Clone GAF-3 is a rabbit monoclonal antibody that recognizes caspase-10 (gene CASP10) in human and mouse samples and is validated for Western blot, IHC, ICC/IF, immunoprecipitation and flow cytometry. The predicted molecular weight is 59.0 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 70 kDa.
Caspase-10 is an initiator caspase closely related to caspase-8 that is present in humans but not in mice. It is recruited through FADD to death receptors such as Fas and TNFR1 and can cleave downstream effector caspases, contributing to extrinsic apoptosis. Mutations in CASP10 are linked to autoimmune lymphoproliferative syndrome.

Samples with a confirmed band (WB): HeLa cells.
Recommended loading (WB): 20–40 µg of total protein per lane.
Samples with confirmed staining (ICC/IF): MCF-7 cells.
Immunogen
Synthetic peptide based on the sequence of human pro Caspase 10.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with human and mouse. Tissue expression noted by UniProt (human): Detectable in most tissues. The samples tested by the supplier (listed above) are a practical starting point for positive controls.
