Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody detects pre-mRNA-processing factor 39 (gene PRPF39) in human, mouse and rat samples and is validated for Western blot, ICC/IF, flow cytometry and ELISA. The predicted molecular weight is 78.4 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 90 kDa.
PRPF39 is a pre-mRNA processing factor related to the yeast U1 snRNP protein Prp39, which acts early in spliceosome assembly. It contains tetratricopeptide-like repeats and is thought to take part in pre-mRNA splicing, but its precise role in human cells has not been fully characterized.

Validated Applications
| Western blot | 0.25–0.5 µg/mL (Human, Mouse, Rat) |
|---|---|
| Immunocytochemistry / Immunofluorescence | 5 µg/mL (Human) |
| Flow cytometry (fixed cells) | 1–3 µg/1×106 cells (Human) |
| ELISA | 0.1–0.5 µg/mL |
Samples with a confirmed band (WB): human K562 cells, human Raji cells, human MCF-7 cells, rat brain tissue, mouse brain tissue.
Recommended loading (WB): 20–40 µg of total protein per lane.
Conditions in the example images (WB): 5–20% gradient SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions, 30 µg lysate per lane, transfer to nitrocellulose membrane, blocking in 5% non-fat milk, primary antibody at 0.5 µg/mL overnight at 4 °C, HRP-conjugated secondary antibody at 1:5000, ECL detection.
Samples with confirmed staining (ICC/IF): A549 cells.
Samples with a confirmed signal (flow cytometry): Raji cells.
Immunogen
Recombinant human PRPF39 fragment (Asp149–Tyr664), expressed in E. coli.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with human, mouse and rat. UniProt places pre-mRNA-processing factor 39 in the nucleus. The samples tested by the supplier (listed above) are a practical starting point for positive controls.
