Product Overview
Clone 30P52 is a rabbit monoclonal antibody that recognizes U4/U6 small nuclear ribonucleoprotein Prp4 (gene PRPF4) in human samples and is validated for Western blot, IHC, ICC/IF, flow cytometry and immunoprecipitation. The predicted molecular weight is 58.4 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 58 kDa.
PRPF4 is a WD40-repeat protein of the U4/U6 small nuclear ribonucleoprotein. As part of the U4/U6-U5 tri-snRNP it helps assemble the precatalytic spliceosome, and variants in PRPF4 have been reported in autosomal dominant retinitis pigmentosa, linking it to splicing and retinal research.
