Product Overview
Clone 30P60 is a rabbit monoclonal antibody that recognizes U4/U6 small nuclear ribonucleoprotein Prp4 (gene PRPF4) in human, mouse and rat samples and is validated for Western blot and IHC. The predicted molecular weight is 58.4 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 58 kDa.
PRPF4 is a WD40-repeat protein of the U4/U6 small nuclear ribonucleoprotein. As part of the U4/U6-U5 tri-snRNP it helps assemble the precatalytic spliceosome, and variants in PRPF4 have been reported in autosomal dominant retinitis pigmentosa, linking it to splicing and retinal research.
