Product Overview
Clone 30P25 is a rabbit monoclonal antibody that recognizes proteasome subunit beta type-10 (gene PSMB10) in human, mouse and rat samples and is validated for Western blot and IHC. The predicted molecular weight is 28.9 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 29 kDa.
PSMB10 (β2i, also called MECL-1) is an interferon-inducible catalytic subunit of the immunoproteasome. It replaces the constitutive β2 subunit, altering cleavage preferences so the proteasome produces more peptides suited for MHC class I presentation, which makes it relevant to antigen processing and immunology research.
