Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody recognizes 26S proteasome regulatory subunit 4 (gene PSMC1) in human, mouse and rat samples and is validated for Western blot, IHC, ICC/IF, flow cytometry and ELISA.
PSMC1 (Rpt2) is one of six AAA+ ATPase subunits in the base of the 19S regulatory particle of the 26S proteasome. The ATPase ring unfolds ubiquitinated substrates and opens the gate of the 20S core, allowing their translocation into the proteolytic chamber for degradation.
