Product Overview
Clone 20P61 is a rabbit monoclonal antibody that recognizes 26S proteasome non-ATPase regulatory subunit 4 (gene PSMD4) in human, mouse and rat samples and is validated for Western blot, immunoprecipitation and flow cytometry. The predicted molecular weight is 40.7 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 50 kDa.
PSMD4 (Rpn10, also called S5a) is a ubiquitin receptor of the 26S proteasome. Its ubiquitin-interacting motifs capture polyubiquitinated substrates for degradation, and it also exists outside the proteasome in a free form, making it a classic subject in ubiquitin recognition research.
