Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody targets proline-serine-threonine phosphatase-interacting protein 2 (gene PSTPIP2) in human samples and is validated for Western blot, ICC/IF, flow cytometry and ELISA. The predicted molecular weight is 38.9 kDa; the supplier reports observed bands at 36,39 kDa.
PSTPIP2 is an F-BAR domain protein expressed mainly in macrophages and other myeloid cells, where it binds F-actin and membranes. It acts as a negative regulator of inflammatory responses, and loss of PSTPIP2 in mice causes an autoinflammatory bone disease, making it relevant to innate immunity research.

Validated Applications
| Western blot | 0.25–0.5 µg/mL (Human) |
|---|---|
| Immunocytochemistry / Immunofluorescence | 5 µg/mL (Human) |
| Flow cytometry (fixed cells) | 1–3 µg/1×106 cells (Human) |
| ELISA | 0.1–0.5 µg/mL |
Samples with a confirmed band (WB): human HEL cells.
Recommended loading (WB): 20–40 µg of total protein per lane.
Conditions in the example images (WB): 5–20% gradient SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions, 30 µg lysate per lane, transfer to nitrocellulose membrane, blocking in 5% non-fat milk, primary antibody at 0.5 µg/mL overnight at 4 °C, HRP-conjugated secondary antibody at 1:5000, ECL detection.
Samples with confirmed staining (ICC/IF): U2OS cells.
Samples with a confirmed signal (flow cytometry): HEL cells.
Immunogen
Recombinant human PSTPIP2 fragment (Met1–Gln334), expressed in E. coli.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with human. UniProt places proline-serine-threonine phosphatase-interacting protein 2 in the cytoplasm and membrane. The samples tested by the supplier (listed above) are a practical starting point for positive controls.
