Boster Bio Anti-PTPN2 Rabbit Monoclonal Antibody catalog # M01597. Tested in WB, IP, Flow Cytometry applications. This antibody reacts with Human, Mouse.
Protein: Lysosome-associated membrane glycoprotein 2 (Lamp2) | Gene: E3 ubiquitin-protein ligase NEDD4-like | Target: PTPN2 | Function: E3 ubiquitin-protein ligase which accepts ubiquitin from an E2 ubiquitin-conjugating enzyme in the form of a thioester and then ly transfers the ubiquitin to targeted substrates. Inhibits TGF-beta signaling by triggering SMAD2 and TGFBR1 ubiquitination and proteasome-dependent degradation. Promotes ubiquitination and internalization of various plasma membrane channels such as ENaC, Nav1.2, Nav1.3, Nav1.5, Nav1.7, Nav1.8, Kv1.3, EAAT1 or CLC5. Promotes ubiquitination and degradation of SGK1 and TNK2. Ubiquitinates BRAT1 and this ubiquitination is enhanced in the presence of NDFIP1 (PubMed:25631046). Plays a role in dendrite formation by melanocytes (PubMed:23999003). . | Research areas: Cell Biology,Chromatin Modifying Enzymes,Epigenetics and Nuclear Signaling,Proteasome / Ubiquitin,Proteolysis/Ubiquitin,Ubiquitin E3 Enzymes
Host: Rabbit | Clonality/Clone: Monoclonal / Clone: 27P66 | Isotype: IgG | Reactivity: Human,Mouse | Immunogen: A synthesized peptide derived from human PTPN2 | Concentration: 0.5mg/ml | Purification: Affinity-chromatography
Applications: WB, ICC, FC, IP
Observed MW: 40-48 kDa | Calculated MW: 111932 MW
Cellular localization: Cytoplasm . May be recruited to exosomes by NDFIP1.
Tissue details: Ubiquitously expressed, with highest levels in prostate, pancreas and kidney (PubMed:14615060, PubMed:15496141, PubMed:19664597). Expressed in melanocytes (PubMed:23999003). .
