Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody detects pyrroline-5-carboxylate reductase 3 (gene PYCR3) in human and mouse samples and is validated for Western blot, flow cytometry and ELISA.
Pyrroline-5-carboxylate reductase 3 (PYCR3, PYCRL) is a cytosolic enzyme that reduces pyrroline-5-carboxylate to proline. Unlike PYCR1 and PYCR2, it is tied to proline production from ornithine rather than from glutamate.
