Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody targets pyrin and HIN domain-containing protein 1 (gene PYHIN1) in human, mouse and rat samples and is validated for Western blot, IHC, ICC/IF, flow cytometry and ELISA.
PYHIN1 (IFIX) is an interferon-inducible nuclear protein of the PYHIN (HIN-200) family, with a pyrin domain and a HIN domain. In breast cancer cells it promotes the degradation of MDM2 and HDAC1, stabilizing p53 and raising maspin levels, so it is studied as a mediator of interferon's anti-tumor effects.

The supplier lists reactivity with human, mouse and rat. Tissue expression noted by UniProt (human): Expressed in spleen, lymph node and peripheral blood leukocytes, and at lower levels in thymus, bone marrow and fetal liver.
