Product Overview
Clone 21R29 is a rabbit monoclonal antibody that recognizes ras-related protein Rab-27A (gene RAB27A) in human samples and is validated for Western blot, ICC/IF, immunoprecipitation and flow cytometry. The predicted molecular weight is 24.9 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 28 kDa.
Rab27A (RAB27A) is a Rab GTPase that directs docking and release of secretory granules and lysosome-related organelles. It is needed for cytotoxic granule exocytosis by T and NK cells, melanosome transport and exosome secretion, and its loss causes Griscelli syndrome type 2.
