Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody detects ras-related protein Rab-34 (gene RAB34) in human, mouse and rat samples and is validated for Western blot, flow cytometry and ELISA. The predicted molecular weight is 29.0 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 29 kDa.
Rab34 (RAB34) is a Rab GTPase that helps position lysosomes near the Golgi and supports phagosome–lysosome fusion during pathogen clearance. It is also required for early steps of intracellular cilium assembly, when ciliary vesicles dock at the mother centriole.

Samples with a confirmed band (WB): human HeLa cells, human A549 cells, human U2OS cells, rat ovary tissue, rat PC-12 cells, mouse ovary tissue, mouse 3T3-L1 cells.
Recommended loading (WB): 20–40 µg of total protein per lane.
Conditions in the example images (WB): 5–20% gradient SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions, 30 µg lysate per lane, transfer to nitrocellulose membrane, blocking in 5% non-fat milk, primary antibody at 0.5 µg/mL overnight at 4 °C, HRP-conjugated secondary antibody at 1:5000, ECL detection.
Samples with a confirmed signal (flow cytometry): A549 cells.
Immunogen
Recombinant human RAB34 fragment (Met1–Pro259), expressed in E. coli.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with human, mouse and rat. UniProt places ras-related protein Rab-34 in the cytoplasm, Golgi apparatus and cytoplasmic vesicle. The samples tested by the supplier (listed above) are a practical starting point for positive controls.
