Product Overview
Clone 28R25 is a rabbit monoclonal antibody that recognizes DNA repair protein RAD51 homolog 4 (gene RAD51D) in human, mouse and rat samples and is validated for Western blot, IHC and immunoprecipitation. The predicted molecular weight is 35.0 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 35 kDa.
RAD51D is a RAD51 paralog in the BCDX2 complex that acts downstream of BRCA2 to support RAD51 recruitment in homologous recombination. It also helps protect telomeres, and germline RAD51D mutations increase ovarian cancer risk.
