Product Overview
Clone 24R43 is a rabbit monoclonal antibody that recognizes DNA repair protein RAD52 homolog in human samples and is validated for Western blot. The predicted molecular weight is 46.2 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 48 kDa.
RAD52 binds single-stranded DNA and anneals complementary strands. In human cells it supports single-strand annealing, break-induced replication and repair of stalled forks, and it becomes especially important when BRCA-dependent homologous recombination is defective.
