Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody detects helicase ARIP4 (gene RAD54L2) in human, mouse and rat samples and is validated for Western blot, ICC/IF, flow cytometry and ELISA. The predicted molecular weight is 162.8 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 190 kDa.
ARIP4 (RAD54L2) is a SNF2-family ATPase that binds the androgen receptor and modulates its transcriptional activity at certain promoters. It may also help paused RNA polymerase II move forward by resolving R-loops near the start sites of AR target genes.

Samples with a confirmed band (WB): human Jurkat cells, human HEL cells, human SH-SY5Y cells, rat PC-12 cells, mouse RAW264.7 cells, mouse Ana-1 cells.
Recommended loading (WB): 20–40 µg of total protein per lane.
Conditions in the example images (WB): 5–20% gradient SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions, 30 µg lysate per lane, transfer to nitrocellulose membrane, blocking in 5% non-fat milk, primary antibody at 0.5 µg/mL overnight at 4 °C, HRP-conjugated secondary antibody at 1:5000, ECL detection.
Samples with confirmed staining (ICC/IF): A431 cells.
Samples with a confirmed signal (flow cytometry): HEL cells.
Immunogen
Recombinant human RAD54L2 fragment (Arg144–His1037), expressed in E. coli. Sequence identity with the mouse ortholog: 96.8%.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with human, mouse and rat. UniProt places helicase ARIP4 in the nucleus and chromosome. Tissue expression noted by UniProt (human): Levels elevated in prostatic adenocarcinoma (at protein level). The samples tested by the supplier (listed above) are a practical starting point for positive controls.
