Product Overview
Clone FDI-18 is a rabbit monoclonal antibody that recognizes ralA-binding protein 1 (gene RALBP1) in human, mouse and rat samples and is validated for Western blot, IHC and flow cytometry. The predicted molecular weight is 76.1 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 95 kDa.
RALBP1 (RLIP76) is an effector of the Ral GTPases that also acts as a GTPase-activating protein for Cdc42 and Rac1. It participates in receptor endocytosis and mitotic signaling, and it has been described as an ATP-dependent transporter of glutathione conjugates and certain drugs.

Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with human, mouse and rat. UniProt places ralA-binding protein 1 in the cell membrane, cytoplasm, nucleus and mitochondrion. Tissue expression noted by UniProt (human): Expressed ubiquitously but at low levels. The samples tested by the supplier (listed above) are a practical starting point for positive controls.
