Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody targets ran-binding protein 9 (gene RANBP9) in human samples and is validated for Western blot, ICC/IF, flow cytometry and ELISA. The predicted molecular weight is 77.8 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 91 kDa.
RanBP9 (RanBPM) is a scaffold protein found in the nucleus and cytoplasm. It is a core component of the CTLH E3 ubiquitin ligase complex and interacts with many receptors and signaling proteins, with roles reported in cell spreading, actin organization and neuronal signaling.

Recommended loading (WB): 20–40 µg of total protein per lane.
Conditions in the example images (WB): 5–20% gradient SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions, 30 µg lysate per lane, transfer to nitrocellulose membrane, blocking in 5% non-fat milk, primary antibody at 0.5 µg/mL overnight at 4 °C, HRP-conjugated secondary antibody at 1:5000, ECL detection.
Samples with confirmed staining (ICC/IF): A549 cells.
Samples with a confirmed signal (flow cytometry): U2OS cells.
Immunogen
Recombinant human RANBP9 fragment (Lys348–Glu574), expressed in E. coli. Sequence identity with the mouse ortholog: 95.6%.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with human. UniProt places ran-binding protein 9 in the cytoplasm, nucleus and cell membrane. Tissue expression noted by UniProt (human): Ubiquitously expressed, with highest levels in testes, placenta, heart, and muscle, and lowest levels in lung. The samples tested by the supplier (listed above) are a practical starting point for positive controls.
