Product Overview

Clone 26R35 is a rabbit monoclonal antibody that recognizes RING finger and CHY zinc finger domain-containing protein 1 (gene RCHY1) in human and mouse samples and is validated for Western blot, ICC/IF and immunoprecipitation. The predicted molecular weight is 30.1 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 30 kDa.

RCHY1 (Pirh2) is a RING-type E3 ubiquitin ligase that targets p53 for ubiquitination and proteasomal degradation, forming a feedback loop with p53, which induces its expression. It also acts on other substrates such as p73 and CDKN1B/p27 and has a role in ribosome-associated quality control, so it is studied in p53 regulation and cancer biology.
