Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody detects receptor expression-enhancing protein 3 (gene REEP3) in human, mouse and rat samples and is validated for Western blot and ICC/IF. The predicted molecular weight is 29.3 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 34 kDa.
REEP3 is a membrane protein of the endoplasmic reticulum (ER) that also binds microtubules. During mitosis it helps clear ER membranes away from chromosomes, which supports proper cell division and nuclear envelope reassembly.

Samples with a confirmed band (WB): human Hacat cells, human PC-3 cells, human A431 cells, human SIHA cells, rat brain tissue, rat PC-12 cells, mouse brain tissue, mouse NIH/3T3 cells.
Recommended loading (WB): 20–40 µg of total protein per lane.
Conditions in the example images (WB): 5–20% gradient SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions, 30 µg lysate per lane, transfer to nitrocellulose membrane, blocking in 5% non-fat milk, primary antibody at 0.5 µg/mL overnight at 4 °C, HRP-conjugated secondary antibody at 1:5000, ECL detection.
Samples with confirmed staining (ICC/IF): U2OS cells.

Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with human, mouse and rat. UniProt places receptor expression-enhancing protein 3 in the endoplasmic reticulum membrane. Tissue expression noted by UniProt (human): Expressed in circumvallate papillae. The samples tested by the supplier (listed above) are a practical starting point for positive controls.
