Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody recognizes GTP-binding protein REM 2 (gene REM2) in human, mouse and rat samples and is validated for Western blot, flow cytometry and ELISA.
REM2 is a small GTPase of the RGK family (Rad, Rem, Rem2, Gem/Kir), which binds GTP but hydrolyzes it only slowly. RGK proteins are known to inhibit voltage-gated calcium channels, and REM2, which is expressed in the brain, is studied in neuronal calcium signaling and synapse development.
