Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody targets ammonium transporter Rh type B (gene RHBG) in human samples and is validated for Western blot, flow cytometry and ELISA.
RhBG (RHBG) is a Rhesus-family membrane protein that transports ammonium/ammonia across the basolateral membrane of epithelial cells. It is found in the kidney collecting duct, liver and other tissues, where it contributes to renal ammonia excretion and acid–base balance.

Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with human. UniProt places ammonium transporter Rh type B in the cell membrane and basolateral cell membrane. Tissue expression noted by UniProt (human): Specifically expressed in kidney.
