Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody targets RILP-like protein 1 (gene RILPL1) in human and rat samples and is validated for Western blot and ELISA. The predicted molecular weight is 47.1 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 50 kDa.
RILPL1 is a protein related to the Rab-interacting lysosomal protein RILP. It helps control protein transport away from primary cilia and has been linked to cell shape and polarity, and it can hold GAPDH in the cytoplasm to limit GAPDH-driven cell death. It is also studied as a binding partner of Rab proteins phosphorylated by LRRK2.

Samples with a confirmed band (WB): human H9C2(2–1) cells, human PC-3 cells.
Recommended loading (WB): 20–40 µg of total protein per lane.
Conditions in the example images (WB): 5–20% gradient SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions, 30 µg lysate per lane, transfer to nitrocellulose membrane, blocking in 5% non-fat milk, primary antibody at 0.5 µg/mL overnight at 4 °C, HRP-conjugated secondary antibody at 1:5000, ECL detection.
Immunogen
Recombinant human RILPL1 fragment (Glu3–Lys324), expressed in E. coli. Sequence identity with the mouse and rat orthologs: 93.2% and 93.5%, respectively.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with human and rat. UniProt places RILP-like protein 1 in the cytoplasm. Tissue expression noted by UniProt (human): Widely expressed. The samples tested by the supplier (listed above) are a practical starting point for positive controls.
