Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody detects ribonuclease H2 subunit B (gene RNASEH2B) in human samples and is validated for Western blot, ICC/IF, flow cytometry and ELISA. The predicted molecular weight is 35.1 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 35 kDa.
RNASEH2B is a non-catalytic subunit of RNase H2, the complex that removes ribonucleotides embedded in genomic DNA and degrades RNA in RNA:DNA hybrids. It is needed for proper assembly and function of the enzyme, and mutations in RNASEH2B are a common cause of Aicardi–Goutières syndrome, a type I interferon disorder.

Validated Applications
| Western blot | 0.25–0.5 µg/mL (Human) |
|---|---|
| Immunocytochemistry / Immunofluorescence | 5 µg/mL (Human) |
| Flow cytometry (fixed cells) | 1–3 µg/1×106 cells (Human) |
| ELISA | 0.1–0.5 µg/mL |
Samples with a confirmed band (WB): human MOLT-4 cells.
Recommended loading (WB): 20–40 µg of total protein per lane.
Conditions in the example images (WB): 5–20% gradient SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions, 30 µg lysate per lane, transfer to nitrocellulose membrane, blocking in 5% non-fat milk, primary antibody at 0.5 µg/mL overnight at 4 °C, HRP-conjugated secondary antibody at 1:5000, ECL detection.
Samples with confirmed staining (ICC/IF): T-47D cells.
Samples with a confirmed signal (flow cytometry): HL-60 cells.
Immunogen
Recombinant human RNASEH2B fragment (Lys39–Glu260), expressed in E. coli.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with human. UniProt places ribonuclease H2 subunit B in the nucleus. Tissue expression noted by UniProt (human): Widely expressed. The samples tested by the supplier (listed above) are a practical starting point for positive controls.
