Product Overview

Clone 30R26 is a rabbit monoclonal antibody that recognizes E3 ubiquitin-protein ligase RNF115 in human, mouse and rat samples and is validated for Western blot. The predicted molecular weight is 33.7 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 37 kDa.

RNF115 (also called BCA2 or ZNF364) is a RING-type E3 ubiquitin ligase that can build both Lys48- and Lys63-linked chains. It helps route endocytosed receptors such as EGFR for lysosomal degradation and has been linked to autophagy, innate antiviral responses and cell proliferation, and it is often studied in breast cancer biology.

Validated Applications

Western blot 1:500–1:2000

Samples with a confirmed band (WB): PC-3 cells.

Recommended loading (WB): 20–40 µg of total protein per lane.

Immunogen

Synthetic peptide based on the sequence of human RNF115.

Reactivity Notes

The supplier lists reactivity with human, mouse and rat. UniProt places E3 ubiquitin-protein ligase RNF115 in the cytoplasm, nucleus, endoplasmic reticulum and Golgi apparatus. Tissue expression noted by UniProt (human): Expressed at extremely low levels in normal breast, prostate, lung, colon. The samples tested by the supplier (listed above) are a practical starting point for positive controls.

Safety

Handling: the formulation contains sodium azide as a preservative. Wear gloves, avoid contact with skin and eyes, and dispose of waste according to local regulations. For research use only; not for diagnostic or therapeutic procedures.
Q.Which applications is this antibody validated for, and at what dilution?
