Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody recognizes roundabout homolog 1 (gene ROBO1) in human, mouse and rat samples and is validated for Western blot, flow cytometry and ELISA. The predicted molecular weight is 180.9 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 250 kDa.
Roundabout homolog 1 (ROBO1) is a transmembrane receptor for SLIT guidance proteins. SLIT–ROBO signaling repels growing axons, most famously at the ventral midline of the developing nervous system, and it also guides cell migration and shapes organs such as the kidney, heart and lung, so ROBO1 is studied in neurodevelopment, angiogenesis and cancer.

Samples with a confirmed band (WB): human HepG2 cells, human HeLa cells, human 293T cells, rat brain tissue, mouse brain tissue.
Recommended loading (WB): 20–40 µg of total protein per lane.
Conditions in the example images (WB): 5–20% gradient SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions, 30 µg lysate per lane, transfer to nitrocellulose membrane, blocking in 5% non-fat milk, primary antibody at 0.5 µg/mL overnight at 4 °C, HRP-conjugated secondary antibody at 1:5000, ECL detection.
Samples with a confirmed signal (flow cytometry): A549 cells.

Recombinant human ROBO1 fragment (Phe264–Pro897), expressed in E. coli.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with human, mouse and rat. UniProt places roundabout homolog 1 in the cell membrane and cell projection. Tissue expression noted by UniProt (human): Widely expressed, with exception of kidney. The samples tested by the supplier (listed above) are a practical starting point for positive controls.
