Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody detects roundabout homolog 4 (gene ROBO4) in human, mouse and rat samples and is validated for Western blot and ELISA. The predicted molecular weight is 107.5 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 107 kDa.
ROBO4 is a Roundabout family receptor expressed mainly in endothelial cells. It interacts with SLIT2 and helps keep blood vessels stable by limiting endothelial migration and leakage in response to angiogenic signals such as VEGF, making it a subject of research on vascular permeability and angiogenesis.

Samples with a confirmed band (WB): human HeLa cells, human HepG2 cells, rat PC-12 cells, mouse LLC cells.
Recommended loading (WB): 20–40 µg of total protein per lane.
Conditions in the example images (WB): 5–20% gradient SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions, 30 µg lysate per lane, transfer to nitrocellulose membrane, blocking in 5% non-fat milk, primary antibody at 0.5 µg/mL overnight at 4 °C, HRP-conjugated secondary antibody at 1:5000, ECL detection.

Recombinant human ROBO4 fragment (Asp108–Ala933), expressed in E. coli.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with human, mouse and rat. Tissue expression noted by UniProt (human): Specifically expressed in endothelial cells. The samples tested by the supplier (listed above) are a practical starting point for positive controls.
