Product Overview
Clone ADCI-18 is a rabbit monoclonal antibody that recognizes E3 ubiquitin-protein ligase RBX1 in human, mouse and rat samples and is validated for Western blot, IHC, ICC/IF, immunoprecipitation and flow cytometry. The predicted molecular weight is 12.3 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 12 kDa.
RBX1 (ROC1) is a small RING-finger protein that forms the catalytic core of cullin-RING ubiquitin ligases (CRLs), the largest family of E3 ligases. By recruiting E2 enzymes such as CDC34 to cullin scaffolds, it drives ubiquitination and proteasomal breakdown of many proteins involved in cell cycle, signaling, transcription and DNA repair, so it is widely studied in protein degradation research.

Immunogen
Synthetic peptide based on the sequence of human ROC1 E3 ubiquitin ligase component of multiple cullin-RING-based E3 ubiquitin-protein ligase complexes which mediate the ubiquitination and subsequent proteasomal degradation of target proteins, including proteins involved in cell cycle progression, signal transduction, transcription and transcription-coupled nucleotide excision repair.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with human, mouse and rat. UniProt places E3 ubiquitin-protein ligase RBX1 in the cytoplasm and nucleus. Tissue expression noted by UniProt (human): Widely expressed. The samples tested by the supplier (listed above) are a practical starting point for positive controls.
