Product Overview
Clone 29R56 is a rabbit monoclonal antibody that recognizes large ribosomal subunit protein uL1 (gene RPL10A) in human, mouse and rat samples and is validated for Western blot, IHC, ICC/IF and flow cytometry. The predicted molecular weight is 24.8 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 25 kDa.
RPL10A (uL1) is a component of the large 60S ribosomal subunit, where it forms part of the L1 stalk that helps move deacylated tRNA out of the ribosome. Like other ribosomal proteins, it is used in studies of ribosome composition, translation and ribosome biogenesis.

Recommended loading (WB): 20–40 µg of total protein per lane.
Immunogen
Synthetic peptide based on the sequence of human RPL10A.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with human, mouse and rat. UniProt places large ribosomal subunit protein uL1 in the cytoplasm. The samples tested by the supplier (listed above) are a practical starting point for positive controls.
