Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody recognizes regulation of nuclear pre-mRNA domain-containing protein 1B (gene RPRD1B) in human and monkey samples and is validated for Western blot, IHC, ICC/IF, flow cytometry and ELISA. The predicted molecular weight is 36.9 kDa, and the supplier reports an observed band at about 37 kDa.
RPRD1B (also called CREPT) binds the phosphorylated C-terminal domain of RNA polymerase II through its CID domain and helps coordinate transcription with 3′-end processing and termination. It has been reported to enhance cyclin D1 expression and is frequently studied for its elevated expression in tumors.

Samples with a confirmed band (WB): human HeLa cells, human Jurkat cells, human Caco-2 cells, monkey COS-7 cells.
Recommended loading (WB): 20–40 µg of total protein per lane.
Conditions in the example images (WB): 5–20% gradient SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions, 30 µg lysate per lane, transfer to nitrocellulose membrane, blocking in 5% non-fat milk, primary antibody at 0.5 µg/mL overnight at 4 °C, HRP-conjugated secondary antibody at 1:5000, ECL detection.
Samples with confirmed staining (IHC): human esophageal squamous carcinoma tissue, human B cells lymphoma tissue, human rectal cancer tissue.
Recommended antigen retrieval: heat-mediated, in TE buffer (pH 9.0); citrate buffer (pH 6.0) can be used instead.
Conditions in the example images (IHC): heat-mediated antigen retrieval in EDTA buffer (pH 8.0).
Samples with confirmed staining (ICC/IF): U2OS cells.
Samples with confirmed staining (ICC/IF): human esophageal squamous cells carcinoma tissue.
Samples with a confirmed signal (flow cytometry): HeLa cells.
Immunogen
Recombinant human RPRD1B fragment (Arg79–Lys272), expressed in E. coli.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with human and monkey. UniProt places regulation of nuclear pre-mRNA domain-containing protein 1B in the nucleus. Tissue expression noted by UniProt (human): Preferentially expressed in a range of tumor tissues including colon, lung, liver, breast, prostate, stomach, uterine endometrium and cervical cancers with higher levels in tumors than in adjacent non-tumor tissue (at protein level). The samples tested by the supplier (listed above) are a practical starting point for positive controls.
