Product Overview
This rabbit polyclonal antibody recognizes small ribosomal subunit protein eS1 (gene RPS3A) in rat samples and is validated for Western blot, ICC/IF and ELISA.
RPS3A (eS1) is a component of the small 40S ribosomal subunit and of the nucleolar SSU processome that assembles it. It is studied in ribosome biogenesis and translation, and elevated RPS3A expression has been reported in some tumors.

Immunogen
Recombinant human RPS3A fragment (Lys18–Arg146), expressed in E. coli. Sequence identity with the mouse and rat orthologs: 100%.
Reactivity Notes
The supplier lists reactivity with rat. UniProt places small ribosomal subunit protein eS1 in the cytoplasm and nucleus.
